Plaza Promo is a site I built that collects deals for new customers from the shops in a local shopping plaza, so you can try every shop in your plaza for less. You open the plaza's page, save a deal on your phone, and scan the shop's sign at the register. You don't need an account. It launches first in shopping plazas in Coral Springs, Florida.
What is Plaza Promo?
Plaza Promo is a site for shopping plaza deals, organized one plaza at a time. Its terms describe it plainly: it "shows deals for new customers at shops in local plazas." Each plaza has its own page. A shop with a deal shows the offer, its conditions, buttons to call, map, save, or share it, and the date it ends.
The shops set the offers. Per the terms, "each shop sets its own deal and its terms," and a deal ends on the date shown with it. The service is run by Local Beacon, which is a registered DBA of Garrell Tech Solutions. The site is also available in Spanish from the Español link in the menu.
Why use Plaza Promo?
The deals are for new customers, so they're a reason to finally walk into the shop you've been parking in front of for months. The plaza page also lists the plaza's other shops under "Also in this plaza," with buttons for directions and calls, and a website link for some. One page shows the plaza's deals and its other shops.
Which plazas are on Plaza Promo?
Plaza Promo starts in Coral Springs, FL. The home page currently lists two Coral Springs plazas, one with 26 shops and one with 14.
How do you use a Plaza Promo deal?
Using a deal takes three steps, and none of them needs an account.
- Open your plaza's page. The home page lists each plaza.
- Tap Save. The deal is saved on this phone and saved to My deals.
- Scan the shop's sign at the register.
The terms are explicit that signing up is optional: "every deal works on your phone without signing up."
What do you get if you sign up?
Signing up lets you keep a deal on any phone, and once you're signed in, your deals are kept with your number. It can also turn on text reminders. It's free, with no password: you enter a 10-digit US mobile number and type in the 6-digit code that gets texted to you.

Those two text boxes each start unchecked, and you can sign up without either. Message frequency varies, up to 8 messages a month, and message and data rates may apply. You must be 18 or older to join.
How do you share a deal with a friend?
Every deal has a Share button. You can send it by text, by WhatsApp, or by copying the link. If you're signed up for texts about your deals, you get a "Your bonus is ready" text when a friend uses your link.
